Hi,

My friend Brad never sold his 40. I dont have all the details on it but it is an '81 I think, 4.88s, Alcan lift, shackle reversal, new tires, POR 15ed frame, power steering, custom cage, ARB air w/ lockers front and rear... repaint 1.5 years ago... durabeked interior, CB radio, new bumper, warn 8247 - never used, metaltech stinger bar... its a killer truck. While I am not sure of price, call him, i bet he lets it go for $9k... call him if interested... his name is brad, his number is 508 353 0740 or email: brayspg (at) yahoo.com

this is Bill Fiora's old truck nice truck the cage came from that place that used to be outside of Philly they were the first to mass produce the contour tubed cages. nice stuff. this truck had an OEM black soft top on it at one point but I think Bill sold that seperately.
great truck worth every penny
 
tell me about it... it is about to get me a divorce 7 days before i get married! i should have gone with a cash bar and just bought the truck :-)
 
I would honestly say that it looks like it's worth $9k all day long.
 
Brad the owner here....
The truck is pretty damn nice overall... perfect, no. In prep for a new owner I have changed all the diff fluids, coolant, oil, and filter.

I need to move the vehicle to a new home... one where it will be properly used!!!
 
I will check when I get home as I do not have it written down in front of me. Will prolly be about 8:30 or so.

Truck got all fresh oil, filter, coolant, diff fluid... ready to go
 
Just a couple things I recall about this truck. Unless Brad swapped the gears Bill installed stock 4.11 gears from an earlier 40. Springs were Skyjacker Softrides in the front and custom Alcan's in the rear. Up & Over Innovations built the roll cage and did the suspension install (including the shackle reversal). Bill and I installed the non-USA H41 trans and a new OEM clutch. Last I drove the truck it had one of the smoothest running 2F's I had ever experienced. Yes, there was an OEM top sold separately: I bought it. ;)

This truck is worth every dime of the asking price, whatever it is...I am just a little envious of the new owner.

Nick... thanks for buying the soft top as that allowed Bill to lower the price enought for me to make the purchase! This 2F is great... fired right up after a long wait and runs perfectly.

I am damn sure that 9k is less than what I paid Bill, revermind what I put into it between additional/new hardware, body work, paint, half doors that I made, etc....

for 9K that's a pretty good deal considering a lot of the mods have already been done for you including a 1500 dollar winch/bumper. If my wife wasn't so friggin pissed at me right now I'd fly up there and buy the thing myself!
 
Nick, you are correct. All of it. I apologize if I misrepresented the truck at all. Call Brad and he will set you straight. I wish I could buy it but like I said, I would be divorced before I even got married - which occurs in just over 24 hours!
