There are two buttons on the remote, what does the bottom button do. Seems like mine doesn't do anything.

Wait, what?

what does the bottom button do? my bottom button doesn't lock or unlock, just makes the light come on. So far i use the top bottom to lock and unlock.

Mine never did anything. I think if you hold it down it panics. I recall reading that somewhere......maybe...

If you have the OEM system, then the 2nd button can be used to program to another Toyota rig with system that will work with that remote. In theory, you can have 1 remote for 2 cars.

You can program the 2nd button to work on the same rig too.

In programming, you program either the top button.....or the bottom button. The original 1990-1994 Toyota remotes just had 1 button. You could program one of those to work with any car with the TVSS or RS3000 remote as well.
