My Dad came up over the weekend and we spent a good 10-12 hours on my '91 --

-- it was all-original under the hood, and the radiator had sprung a small leak --

-- we replaced the radiator, P/S lines, alternator, water pump and thermostat --

-- the stealer quoted me $1,000 on this just for labor --

-- phew!

new radiator, installed -- btw, the mounting bolts are a BITCH to access --

tiring work, but worth it --

-- I have yet again a new respect for my cruiser --

Nice work! Thanks for sparing us the "plumber's crack" in photo number 1 :D.

So, what was the bill for this little party?

haha -- just around $1K in parts -- discounted 30%, thankfully!

hmmm how much were the HP and LP PS lines?

Good call on that PS cooler ;). Didn't see a fan coupler in there. Was that already replaced or maybe over looked. You don't realize how much things add up in work when you plan something like this. I know I fell short of what I hoped to get done on my freshening.

Eric,

Lose the cogged belts - aren't they noisy?? Also, that thermostat's not OEM if I recall correctly. Good job on the work - it's great to work with your Pop around. I miss that a great deal. So, what are you doing with the old radiator?
