87 FJ60

THANKS FOR THE INTEREST EVERYONE. THE ROOF RACK STUFF CAN'T BE INCLUDED AT THE 8000 PRICE POINT.
I'D SELL THE ROOF STUFF AND MY M101 WITH THE TRUCK FOR 8700

8000.00

I bought her in early 2005 from a gentleman in Leicester, NC from help with the SOR classifieds. This man bought the truck from the original owner. He left the title open, so when I registered the truck I was the second owner. The CarFax shows the truck belong to the Toyota dealership until '97 and was sold then with 17,000 miles. When I bought her she had 50,000. The truck came with a folder of oil change, window tint, general maint, and rust proofing recipts. I still have these as well as the ones I've collected.

STUFF TO KNOW

(90FJ62- If you see something I missed lemme know)

BAD STUFF:
There is a 3" long crack in the dash that runs from front-to-back just left of the radio that happened in January
The EGR pipe needs a new gasket at the bottom of the manifold (easy to get to)
The oil pan gasket is leaking and needs to be replaced

GOOD STUFF:
the original stock sticker is on the still on the windshield in the upper left-hand corner
This is a list of things I've added, changed, and fixed.

ALL the seats are in great shape
FJ62 electric mirrors replaced the original ones.
2" hitch - the original hitch was a class 1. I still have the original if you'd like it.
Extreme Lined exterior - applied in August of 2005. Looks as good today as it did the day it was done. lifetime warranty
32x10.50r15 Yokahama Geolanders on powder coated 15x8 wheels
I don't think the spare tire has ever touched the ground
Original steel wheels pictured and the Wilderness tires if you want them as well.
Lumarr Window Tint - 25% in the front doors and 15% in the rest of the glass.
Alpine Deck with XM and iPod adapter, also has remote
deck is in dash with ABS plastic surround that I made (very clean looking and sturdy)
XM modulator is hidden in dash behind head unit
iPod adapter is under drivers seat and run to the dash pocket. The iPod sits nicely in the dash pocket
remote is mounted to a magnetic base in the center console (haven't lost it yet)
Pioneer 4" speakers in the doors with factory grills
10" infinity sub in custom enclosure in the cargo area (nice and clean)
Custom drawers in cargo area w/spray on bedliner on cabinet. (They are very well made if I do say so myself)
Suspension -
Front Springs are stock and are still arched nicely
Rear Spring are HFS Jack Springs and have leveled out the truck even with a full cabinet and drawers.
Rancho RS5000 shocks installed 2/07 in the front
Rancho RS9000 shocks intalled 2/07 in the rear
Intake and Exhaust manifolds were planed at 70k miles to fix exhaust leak
new manifold gasket at 70k miles
new clutch disc, pressure plate, slave, and rear main seal at 74k miles
Sylvania SilverStar headlights
I replaced the bad A/C compressor with a used one I got on mud last summer,
along with a new condensor and new O.E. dryer and O rings.
SOR stainless EGR pipe. I put the old gasket on and it needs a new one.
oh, NGK plugs
new plug wires
new rotor cap and button
new coil
Bendix pads front and rear.
There is Redline gear oil in the trans and transfer case.
There is new fluid in the diffs
I had a Flowmaster (the quiet one) installed along with a new tail pip a few months back.
THE TRUCK IS 100% RUST FREE.

This is a great, great, great truck and will be sorely missed by the entire family.
She has never let me down and always grabs a waive from passers by.
Please know I want the next owner to be satisfied. Whatever I can do to make that happen, I will.

Please call if you neeed anything. 828-216-3155

Asheville/Fairview. Holy crap man. Thanks.

As of right now I'm working part time for Carmichael Training Systems (www.trainright.com) as their staff mechanic
part time at BackCountry Outdoors as a chief mechanic

part time at Dean Group Carolinas as a go-fer/laborer

and

part time with an old customer of mine helping to rehab houses.

Scheduling the four is proving to be very difficult.

Tuesday morning I have a second interview at the LandRover dealer as parts and services assistant. The pay is terrible at 375 per week but the job seems fun.

I'm very smart and am very customer service oriented. I love the outdoors. I'm honest, love long walks on the beach........ umm...

oh yeah. I'm a good employee and would just like the chance to earn what I'm worth. I guess everyone deserves that chance. Thanks for any and all help you can offer..

If I get one call from a network marketing "friend" though...

I'll see if some old friends of mine still live in the Asheville area...keep thinking positive...

I wish we had a job for you here. I'll keep an ear to the ground. Stop by if you run out of beer.

You're in luck -- I brought some Lone Star back from Texas. My growler is dry until I can get by Trout Lily though.
