:frown: All –
First of all, this forum is one of the best forums I have visited so far, and I make some new friends along the way sjcruiser, Medtro, Lx_TREME just to name a few. I don’t know my replacement will be, and who knows, I might buy another 80. :) I know that I am going to miss my truck, but I never realized how much until now. :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby:

I just sold my car to some very nice guy who flew from Oregan tonight. He had owned 1991 in the past, and currently trying to sell his HEEP Rubicon right now. He have test drove quite a few of 80, and he was blown away by the power of the blower, and how clean my interior is. He seems to be very meticulous about his car, and I am pretty confident that he will take care of my baby… :frown:

Does he look like he score big on this? :) I wasn’t sure if he wanted me to post his picture, so I black out his eye. Haahaaa

I got over 50 emails for my car. Lucky guy!!

Since so many people posted "check in" thread, I thought I will post "check out" thread. haaahaa

H - The guy that I sold the car to is another car nut, and I am sure he will take care of it. :) He know this site, but will officially introduce himself when He gets home.

so the question is ....

Why?

Did you miss my post on crack block? :)

I didn't. I followed the whole thing on 80scool_usa_norcal and then on Mud. I understood that you were into full disclosure, so the buyer must have known.

Why is he so excited about a great truck with a cracked block when you expressed so much concern about it?

interesting that so many people seem to think it's so easy / inexpensive (?) to replace an engine. Or was your price just compellingly low?

Then of course you could have had the engine replaced yourself.

Jer - I told him everything, and he did his own research. He even read my post on mud. :) I even told him not to buy it...

Yup, I can't replace myself, so hopefully the new owner can do it. My price was low enough that he can do engine swap if he wants to. He can keep driving like many people suggested here.
