rear fan - blows cold air only (1 Viewer)

Problem: Rear fan is only blowing cold air. I assume something is not opening that would allow it to recieve hot air from the heater.

Is there a filter or junction to look for that might be blocked?

Anyone know how this routes to get to vents in the back?

Any help would be great!

Ran heater runs under the center console and exits at the rear of the console at the floor. The top vents blow cold air only.

hey carson7,

i hate to admit it but, i just had the same problem in my new to me 2000. it was simply resolved by turning the rear heater control to warm/hot. the only problem was i didn't even know that there was a control unit located above the drivers side second row seat. ooops. live and learn i guess. i hope it is as simple as that for you. good luck

thanks victor! Just went out and found it. My wife has driven this for two years and I had never seen this! ..of course she thinks she has a time or two but forgot about it
