1991 80 series Costa Rica Diesel

I need help!!! I currently have a 2002 Landcruiser and love it. I am looking at purchasing a 1991 VX right hand drive diesel in the states. Is there any known issues I need to be aware of? I understand that there could be a crank-shaft issue with this engine? Fuel mileage? Any news on this cruiser would be helpful. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!
