I spoke with the guys at BMRA and was told that theyare no longer allowing Thursday arrivals without special permission from the boss. They are talking about it and will get back with me today. The FJ team is planning on attending bring their cameras and trucks so this ought to be quite the weekend. Just an FYI for those of us planning on leaving Thursday. Please post up if you were also planning on a Thursday departure.

UPDATE:

Thursday night arrivals are okay...

Dick told me it was ok to let folks in- I just have to hang a sign on the gate for guys to call & have me come up & let them in.

As it stands now, I am looking to be there around 5:00PM.

There will be absolutley NO wheeling permitted Thursday... period. This is just a courtesy for us to set up camp. If you go off a main road you are choosing to jeopordize my relationship with TMTC and you should expect to be told to leave.

I probably won't bring a trail rig, so I may need to hitch a ride each time someone calls to open the gate, or maybe some kind folks will be willing to share the load with me so I'm not running to the gate all night?

What I need is a list of names of those who will be arriving Thursday... if you're not on the list you will not be permitted in.

I must turn the list in Thursday morning, so post up here. If you post after 12:00PM Thursday afternoon, you will not be on the list.

Obviously, everyone will pay for that night of camping and must check in with the main office first thing Friday morning.

Guys, my name is on this deal, so let's just be cool about things and enjoy the hospitality and our time on the mountain. :)

What and where is this function? I'm not a member, yet, but still read the forums, I haven't seen anything that gives this info.
Thanks

I Cruise Barnwell Mountain (ICBM). A Lone Star Land Cruiser event located at Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area near Gilmer, TX. I don't know that much about it, but you can contact Gary (Waggoner5) and he can give you more details. There is also information about the park at the Texas Parks and Wildlife website as well as http://www.texasmotorizedtrails.com.

Easy for me to say cause I'm not packin the big sumbitch, but I vote bring it. Weather.com is saying a chance of rain all weekend.

3-toe lives! We gonna see you out there?

Seems like most people are kinda wishy-washy about showing up, but I can think of at least 15-20 people.

Rain + ICBM = a really nasty mess. When was that trip when it rained so bad all weekend? 2002? I still have mud under my 62 that will not come off. It dyed the paint in some places it was so bad. Great time though.
