Ok I just did the drive to Edmonton and pulled back a M101 CND trailer.

The place that has a whole bunch is called West ed equipment.

I bought mine for 800 canadian.

The serial numbers these things came in I think went up to a max of 2000. I bought serial number 1200. So he has some pretty high ones there.

Also there are some older ones too. The one I got was darn near never used.

They tow excellent. I towed it back behind a 77 300d Mercedes. 1200 kms home with it.
Not too mention 1200 there. A round trip of 2400...:o

The tires were close to brand new on mine. here's some pics....

Nice find BB,I wouldnt mind one myself. What do they weigh?I guess they cant be too bad if a diesel merc can pull one home ;)
(are those 300D always so noisy?I was next to one on sat and couldnt hear myself think)

I cant remember what the local military trailers were like here, probably a Sankey by GKN

Ya thanks, I have seen that site.

The weight is around 775 pounds. Not bad for a Merc to pull. Yes I think they are all pretty noisey :) but I am sure some new exhaust and better muffler would make it a bit better. Also add some sound deadening to the inside of the hood area and firewall.

But I just drive it. It's ok on fuel and very smooth on rough highways.,

Rosco, that trailer looks similar. Standard Jeep military trailer.
