The special "50th Anniversary" 90 series model was offered in Europe in 2001, where the 90 series are not known as Land Cruiser Prado, but Land Cruiser J9/J95.

It was based on the 3.0L 1KD-FTV available with manual or automatic transmission.

Exclusive equipment incuded: grey interior with "50th Anniversary" emblems, CD Player, color screen on the multi-info console, embroidered floor mats, metal "50th" emblems, among other options.

But in the US you can still get a 50th anniversary edition.

1997 was labeled 40th so 2007...
