I have never really done this but if anyone wants to go to SMS's IG account and let them know they should send me my valve cover that would be awesome. Haha. https://www.instagram.com/sms.cnc?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw== Funds cleared 1/9/24 and it has been...

Is the 100 series really more reliable than the 80?

    GX460 doesn't have a 2UZ. It has a 1UR-FE

White smoke fuel smell after Bosch injector upgrade. Help?

Can you provide the listing/details for the injectors you used? Stock should be around 305cc, if you some how used larger injectors the computer is not going to be able to compensate. Do you have any codes?

Question about Bolt/Nut/Washer sizes and Part Numbers

You can look on Toyota's site, Partsouq or Amayama for part numbers and ordering all work about the same. Some seem to like Partsouq for a little easier part number lookups.

Had wheels and tires on, no one under it, worst case scenario it falls off the jack and back on to the tires. No big deal. lol

    Builds 1997 FZJ80 to HDJ80 1HD-FTE + H152F

It is funny, I know the 1FZ so well, but these diesels are completely foreign to me. It is really cool to see the different tech inside!

    TLC 1997 TOYOTA FZJ80 LAND CRUISER $225K

This is not the TLC of old. Jonathan sold that company to a different company in NC. I would be weary to associate the quality of the old TLC with the new TLC until we are proven differently.....

    TLC 1997 TOYOTA FZJ80 LAND CRUISER $225K

$250k and I get a JVC headunit and cheap cast aluminum wheels?? I am sure there is a lot of work in the truck but I am calling that a $120k truck at most....

Too cold to start? 1997 FZJ80 in Vancouver, WA (6 Degrees F)

I had this happen to me when the temps were around -10f it was like the ignition switch just didn't work. The truck wouldn't even try to turn over. I replaced the ignition switch and never had it happen again.

    Builds New 80 In Virginia

You know I love super flashy parts but I think realistically even Eagle rods would be totally fine for 99% of 2UZ builds. Spring for the ARP 2000 bolts and they will handle more than we really need. Just have the rods checked with a good machinist and they have been used in a lot of builds...
