Chris, I agree with all of the above. The hard part is not making the racks adapt to curved surfaces but rather doing so in a fashion that it does not break the bank. I think that using the 3rd row seat mounts is a great idea. My main question is how variable is the cargo area in respect...- Words: 260

This is a good thread....like I told Arjun Kumar in the email, we have our sights on more Land Cruiser models in the future. The FJ80 series is high on the list but I have to finish the 40 series first before I can move onto the next project. To be honest, I don't see the next big series coming...- Words: 250

The hooks will fit in the back seats...but the back seat is thinner than the front. The front seat hook will project farther out if placed on the back seat. It may work OK...It may not. We will find out. Doc- Words: 43

I think that the best way to proceed is to make the mounts to fit the front seats. That way, they could be used for the rear seats but will extend out further than desired. That may work, it may not. One thing is for sure, if we make the hooks for the rear....they cannot interchange with the...- Words: 75
