    Ham Radio Installed

How do you like the radio? I'm leaning toward the Yaesu FTM350...but the Kenwood 710 has a lot of the same features. I have a FT60 so I'm familiar with the Yaesu menu system.

Hello all, great forum! Used Cruiser ?

Lee...I purchased a 97 last year 2k over market. It had 42K on the clock. I am sure there are better deals out there but you'll spend time looking, and may settle after some frustration. I'd pull the trigger and enjoy. It has half on the mikes on the clock of others its age.

Custom SS 15 to 22 Aux Gallon Fuel Tank

If this statement is true...I'd be in...Not that I am saying your pants are on fire...I'd just like to see the pics and documentation. I looked at my 80 today to see how a tank would fit. Exhaust runs by the spare. You'd need something build for that specific space or you'd loose a bit of real...

Custom SS 15 to 22 Aux Gallon Fuel Tank

Has anyone looked at these http://www.fuelsafe.com/ I did a design for my taco and even though I didn't do it the concept seemed sound. Regardless what product I went with I was going to skid plate the tank. They have cool thumb sized pumps that I thought was a good way to go. You couldn't beat...

Super low miles...Is it worth the cash premium

I did I did...just paid $18,000 for a 97 with 42K on the OD. Driven by an older couple in a retirement community. It has a few issues but is like new inside and out.

Lift going on today, bushing question...?

I just did my install and used the OME bushings. What I found is that my old bushings were cracked and would have needed to be replaced anyway. She drives better with the OME's.

    maiden voyage impressions

Thanks...ay...I wanted to go but after spending most of Friday working on the LC my wife wasn't crazy about the idea. Sounds like CSC's are making it out on the trail more. I'll hit the next one.

    maiden voyage impressions

I just purchased a 97 80 with a lot of drama. Here was the post ttp://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?p=749243#poststop Friday I put on the OME suspension and took it out today for it maiden voyage. I didn't have a lot of time so I drove out to Butcher Jones at Saguaro Lake. Following are some...

    wrecked 80

Thanks Beowulf for the advice...it isn't locked. I do plan on wheeling it but with the low miles and a built up Tacoma also in the garage this will be my wife's daily driver for another few years, or at least that is the plan. She has agreed to let me “tinker” with it...my idea is to have this...

    wrecked 80

Last night I found a white 97 Land Cruiser that has 42K miles on it. I talked it over with my wife and she said we could go look at it. Early this morning we pack up the fam to go look. It was a trade-in at Superstition Toy by an older couple who upgraded to a Lexis. Its a one owner...
