My ’94 DD has 320k on it, 250k of which I’ve put on myself. I don’t plan on going bigger than the 33’s I’ve been running for years.
Is this upgrade considered a ‘prudent ‘ replacement due to the age/mileage factor of our rigs , or do most here runn way larger tires etc ?

I also have 94. 300k miles.
If I’m not mistaken, our engine runs a 9:1 compression. w/ that as low as it is, there’s no more than a mental job as to how HiTest gas makes it run any better than 87. In my yrs of ownership, I personally never saw better ‘running’ or gas mileage. I still get...

I haven’t seen a bad review yet re the seat itself..sometimes the brackets do need a touch of rework but otherwise it seems worth a hard look.
I’ve never taken the cap off while running, but it’s logical to me at least to expect some sign of vacuum and even a tad of shuddering. The same symptoms are present when you remove the dipstick while running...and this I know to be normal.
As far as the PCV, it’s an easy fix , with new hose for...

I replaced w/ used as the VAF has been NLA for some time now. Never even put a meter on it....just replaced it after going thru most everything else...I’ve been GTG since.
That said, here it is, in it’s very simplistic format.
You’d be testing for ohm range..a meter with have that upside down...
Those symptoms look familiar to me from just a couple years ago. I replaced what you have W/ no progress. Replaced VAF...been good ever since.
I see you fixed the VAF....have you checked your work against FSM VAF testing specs?
