    OEM E-Lockers vs. Harrop

I have had the Harrop/Eatons in my 80 since 2018 or so. It was full bodied until 2020. Since then I have converted it to a buggy. I have never ever had them unlock when I change directions. They lock and stay lock. I am running 40" Stickies.

Quick question about stock vs aftermarket E-lockers

I run the Harrop's and have never had any issues. I was on 33's for a long time with them. Now on 40's, they just work. They lock quick and unlock quick.

Any tips on increasing PS pump pressure?

You could go Full Hydro. I did that on my buggy that is based on an 80. I used a kit from trail gear, 2.7L 3.4L Tacoma Full Hydraulic Steering Kit - https://trail-gear.com/steering/hydraulic-steering/2-7l-3-4l-tacoma-full-hydraulic-steering-kit.html. I removed the stock PS pump, made a block...

Starting After a 5 Year Rest

I would pull all of the plugs squirt oil or another lubricate into the cylinder heads, turn over by hand. If it turns freely then proceed to use started without plugs in. The goal of turning over without plugs is to buildup oil pressure and get oil to all the critical parts before actually...

Suggest next steps for brake troubleshooting (booster replacement I think?)

I just went through this with my buggy, which has a very simple brake system. No LSPV and no ABS. You need to go through each wheel before you doing anything else. Make sure the front pistons retract, make sure the slide pins on the rear are in good shape, check pad thickness. After that go...
