861/862 with 10mm spacer in the front sits level and rides super. I have a 94 with a non-winch ARB and 185,000 miles.
New OME Nitrochargers and steering stabilizer went in at the same time.
Highly recommend.
Drying these for personal consumption and gifts. It will be great to have morel and elk stew this fall and winter.
I sent 5lbs each to both my mom and dad, they can't get up the hills as well as they used to.
On Friday I received, and installed, my OME 861/862 stock height kit fromCruiseroutfitters.
On Saturday I drove down a bumpy gravel road to seat the springs , and found this.
Today I drove up a mountain pass road, then hiked in a ways for these.
Pretty good weekend. BTW, the new suspension...
Thanks for the replies.
I am not too worried about the rear sagging under load, that is what the airbags are for.
I just don't want to replace the springs because the front sits low with the ARB, just to have the front sit low with new springs.
Been reading old threads for hours, any new perspectives on leveling out the stock height springs?
Last year I hit a deer and had to be towed. Took the opportunity to replace front bumper with an ARB non-winch, and now the front is way lower than the rear.
Thinking of replacing stock springs...
Patience.
Do not settle because you are excited, wait for the right one.
It is out there.
Last summer I found mine. A locked 94 with 130k for 6k.
Second owner, first was a lease, every receipt since 24,000 when it was turned in.
Factory scheduled maintenance, every thing done by dealer with...
Hello everyone, I have a quick question about bumper fitment.
Will an ARB from a 92 FJ-80 fit a 94 FZJ?
Also, what is a used ARB worth? Non-winch, will need a new coat of paint, no rust though.
Thanks
Getting ready to pull the trigger on some airbags to level me out towing the Bell.
Any advantage to either one? Should I just get whichever one is cheaper?
Thanks
I tow a 15 foot 1966 Bell coach with my stock 94. Probably 3000 loaded for camp. Wind resistance is tough at speeds over 70, but up til then no problem.
Tell your buddy to use his own damn tow rig.
