I feel guilty owning the set of Trail Gear gears I run in our 100. They cost half the price but it undercuts good vendors who contribute to the community.
I had the same thing happen but I replaced my tail light bulbs with LEDs. LEDs unfortunately mess with the cruise control but I don't get pulled over anymore because they work again. The cruise control issue is fixable.

After I got off work I waited around for the FedEx guy to come by. Didn't hear them knock but I discovered the coils on my porch around 6:30 and had my 850/860 coils on before the wife got off work.
It was pretty darn easy aside from laying in cold mud for a few hours after all this weather...

Once you have it torn down inspect the bearing races to make sure they weren't beat up too bad. You want a blemish free dull finish.
The most critical part is getting the inner nut torqued properly. Do it a few times on the first one...

It is literally a 45 minute job. Maybe 1.5 hours your first time.
I got these gears too. Best bang for the buck. They have been my favorite mod so far. Took about 5 hours by myself. Left the case in the truck when I did it. My set has a little over 25k miles on them and they have been flogged on. HARD.

The hub flange is the little dude you removed that was held on with the cone washers. The birf splines into and turns your hub when your axle turns.
They eventually wear out and need replacing.
