ATEB here in Canada had tubes of what I think was Toyota 15k oil that I believe came from Malaysia or that area around there, I took a photo of the toyota part number but even searching it I came up with nothing....
Exactly, ATEB used to do that here, heat it up to cherry red and lightly sand flat I believe. Apparently even though there are only 2 part numbers they can differ in size from when the engine was initially put together at Toyota....
Shop made would be easiest and cheapest most likely, there are many here before you who have done this also and their truck is still running even though its an aftermarket part........
I don't think you can really associate creaking noise with front axle rebuild but I will agree with others that you look low on molly on the one side, IIRC it should be 2/3rds full? that one looks 1/3 but it is hard to tell without pulling the square plug and sticking something in there (search...
The early HDJ81's were a metal cap and the later were plastic with a vent I believe but do not quote me...

I have never had a problem procuring parts.... But also my part guys rock
This is from a local guy (@Enigma) who just posted up saying he noticed this, as you can kinda tell its starting to weep from the oil supply, atleast he caught it in time!!
There are 2 different numbers for the feeder. the superseded part above or the HDJ100 variant which has a brace... they...
Somewhat of a common issue you are starting to see up here, I replaced the part as PM years ago as the original part was known to fail, you won't know anything is wrong until all the oil is on the road and nothing in the engine..... I know of one or two cases of this happening to people up...
A few weekends ago I finished my safari intercooler install
This past weekend I met up with forum member @IanB, he sure is a wicked dude with a wicked truck!
I found myself on the wrong side as we tested his truck after some pump mods, this felt a little weird to me!
Both trucks in the...
