So basically there is no way around not dropping the transmission on a 1HZ engine as there is 1 bolt (1bolt only!!!) which can not be taken out without dropping the transmission, right?     1HZ engine is 37bar max and toast below 27b. 1HDT engine 35bar and toast at 25bar. difference of 10% in between cylinders is adequate. i just bought a 2nd hand 1HDT engine and can turn over the engine with a normal short ratchet on the pulley...feels way lower compression than my overhauled 1HZ...
