    @athensrep has got a neighbor now... And just for fun....look at the fog in Huntsville, AL this morning. It hides some of the dents in the Tundra though...so that was a plus.

    Man, can't wait. Mostly packed and will hopefully be there around supper time tomorrow. Technically not supposed to use the Baofeng on that channel, regardless of having license or not. The radios aren't approved for use on the FRS channels. I have some extra FRS radios we can use, but will...

    Yup, my better half will be with me. Will bring my ham and maybe a couple HT radios. If the 60 is ready to go will have CB too. Definitely adds some fun to the ride

    Yes there was, wasn't me though. They are very capable, I just prefer taking my 60 since the FJC is my daily driver. My 60 is no show car, it's came with dents and rust when I bought it, so I worry less about breakage and body damage. I also think the 60 is just a little more fun!

    I know, it'll stick out like a sore thumb among all the 70s! But, it'll wheel and the 60 may still be under the knife if I don't have time to finish rebuilding the steering gearbox before the the trip. Looking forward to it and hoping the fall weather shows up soon!

    Hopefully the rain has mostly quit for the weekend. It should knock down some of the dust though. I probably won't get there until 12 or 1230 tomorrow. Roma, Michael, y'all think you will still be there?

    Hi Folks, another one of the Huntsville guys here, I plan on heading out to Stoney Lonesome this weekend as well. Probably just there for the day on Saturday and plan on bringing my FJ60. Look forward to meeting you all...looks like we've dialed up some pretty good weather for you!
