That got completely scrapped. I have a proper crossflow, large tube, biggest radiator I could fit.
I then went EFI.
It's been a nightmare. I think many of my issues stem from the 350 actually having issues with the heads being cut too much.
Photos before I installed the puller fan.

I had a 76 master bolted to the MR2 booster (same bolt pattern) and then replaced it with the (used) aluminum Previa master cylinder - which really only required some bending of the lines. The lines were already not original, but they were originally created for the 76 master.
Larger bore will shorten the pedal throw, but lower the pressure in the system. Smaller bore will increase pressure in the system but will require a longer throw in the pedal.
In the performance/racing world, it's a fine line - but generally most people like a shorter throw and go with a...
If you believe it's a fuel issue - I would let the vehicle sit for a day or 2, pull the air filter, spray some starter fluid in and see if it fires right up, or still takes a few seconds of cranking before starting.
I had a quadrajet, it was epoxied, I'm pretty sure it still leaked.
You could...
A couple things are odd to me here....
Typically an electric fan shouldn't turn on when driving at high speeds - the physical airflow by driving would be far in excess of the CFM of a fan.
I wonder if driving at higher speeds the fan should be off - there could be resistance to the natural...
Generally you want to do a compression test with the throttle open, to ensure there isn't a restriction on air getting to the cylinders.
You also want the highest/lowest to be within 10% of one another, which you currently aren't at. 127.5-12.7 = 114.8
All of those numbers sound low, but not...
I have a friend with a 1969.... previously he had a stock transfercase that was modified to have a shifter/handle (instead of the vacuum operated) - it was loose, and would commonly pop out of 4wd into 2wd, when off road, and he wouldn't even notice until he got to something that actually needed...
Vehicles like the 80, 100 (etc) series have a center differential - they are always in all wheel drive where power is sent to front and rear. This is the same concept as a Subaru or even the late 1980's/early 1990's Corolla, Celica, and Camry Alltrac models. In order to ensure additional...
Looks like a cast iron unit. I personally do whatever I can to shy away from cast iron MC's - as the brake fluid absorbs moisture, the inner walls of the MC can start to rust/pit.
This being reman, I wonder if it's been bored out to clean any pitting, and as such, might be larger than the...
Edit....
Just remembered I don't even have a pull switch.....
my 71 is basically nothing stock electrically. I have a 76 windshield and original wiper motor. It's wired on a dedicated circuit and a SPDT - works fine other than not having park. It's a roughly $5 waterproof (marine) switch...
Timing can affect the cranking if timing is off - the plug can fire at the wrong time (too early or late) putting stress against the starter. The starter is trying to rotate the engine, and the plug might fire too early, pushing the piston down/backwards.
If you have a wife, daughter, girlfriend or, I guess, someone else - who has/loves nail polish - it works awesome. You can get bright colors that have a sheen to them that not only show up under a timing light but also shine. They also are small and have a handy/dandy brush at the end. Makes...
Be careful with the pusher ratings - most "pusher" fans are just a reversed puller. The efficiency/cfm rating is usually far lower as a pusher. So a fan rated at 1500cfm and is a pusher/puller - that rating is as a puller, and as a pusher could be much less.
It doesn't matter which spot on the cap is #1 If it isn't marked - as long as you know. The firing order is then based on which you start #1 at....
On my 350 I only set mine bases on the standard orientation because I had everything apart (timing cover off) and it's easier to reference online...
just bump the key for very short engine movements......
The reason your injectors weren't firing is because TBI works on a simple algorithm/batch fire system.... In order to know how long to spray the injectors, it needs to see the engine turning. Simple TBI uses a signal from the distributor...
There are almost no RTV/sealers that are meant to be used on/with items that contact fuel..... might want to elaborate what you did here and/or come up with a different solution if RTV was used between intake and TBI....
O2 location will depend on type of O2.
If you will have a wideband (a 0-5v sensor, usually with a separate controller and is used for proper tuning) then you want it around 24" downstream. I have an innovative unit and it does indicate where to install.
If it's a standard 0-1v sensor used for...
You might have problems with either enough pressure or longevity of the pump.
These pumps aren't puller pumps like a mechanical - they are meant to have little to no resistance on the supply and is why they are recommended to install as close to and below the tank.
While not optimal, mine went...
