    You can use late 70 series prado / 90 colorado rear discs, they will fit right over the rear hubs. They are vented so you you'll have to find some big calipers from them, maybe some citroen BX or xantia fronts will work, those have an incorporated e-brake mechanism. Would you happen to know...

    Andrew, what exactly did you not like about the MT-117s ? Do you remember the real world measurments for them (I assume 280/85R16 ?) I'm pondering different options for upgrading my BJ40 tires and those silverstones look cheap and effective !

    I will take a couple pictures and make measurments once the BJ40 is back in the shop. After the geometry is figured out it's just a matter of cutting and welding which is not that much trouble. I'll keep the board posted.

    thanks :grinpimp: Any gain is worth some effort, figuring out the geometry is not that huge of an effort and I like to mess with such ideas anyway. I don't want more lift or much more tire right now so I'm trying to push the enevelope as-is.
