79 FJ40 No Spark need help

My 79 is from South America so it has all kind of weird parts, very different from the North American trucks. It definitely has points because I replaced that and the condenser. I check for voltage through the coil and everything checked out. Short of replacing the entire distributor I'm baffled...

    Wobble help

I have shims. Tonight I jacked the truck up and checked the front steering for slack and couldn't find anything. No slip in wheels. I also checked the u-joints and they were fine. I don't have power steering, I'm starting to wonder if I need a dual stabilizer. Here are pics of my setup, ignore...

    Wobble help

Wow that's a lot of great info. I just had it in the shop and they didn't say anything was wrong with the steering components. The tires and wheels are brand new. I already have the skyjacker steering stabilizer so I'm wondering if I need a more heavy duty shock absorber. I have a bilstein trd...

    FJ40 Wheel Adapter Question

Is there a wheel adapter that goes from the FJ40 6 lug pattern to the new toyota 5 lug pattern with a center bore hole that's 5.5 inches in width? I found an adapter but the hub side has a 4 inch chevy center bore.

    Wheel Spacer Question

Thanks for the info I'll definitely the trunion bearing route. The vibration isn't a huge deal just noticeable to me. I'm actually more worried about the lug studs not being long enough when I mounted the spacers. They are probably seated half way through the lug nut. I may need to get longer...

    Wheel Spacer Question

By hub centric I mean that the center of spacers are cut to the exact diameter of the hub.

    Wheel Spacer Question

I retorqued the spacers and they were still at specs so they didn't loosen at all after about a 20 mile round trip. Must be the trunnion bearing or a maybe a four wheel alignment is in order.
