    HA HA Next time ill be more careful with my words. Turns out the driver side axle seal that wse barely leaking, agan not enough to drip, was bad. The tension spring that is suspose to be in the seal wasent I would emagine thats ware it came from. happy trails

    Thanks Steers eqally as hard on gravel and even drivng I'ts alittle better but not much, feals like manual. I'm cerous if it could be the seals internally in box. On the other hand the outer seals arn't leaking, is it then possable to assume the inner seals are ok?

    Engine venting

    I have a old SB350 in my 40. I'n an attempt to make it as water resistant as possible I ran only 1 crank case vent from the PVC valve to the PVC valve vent on the carb. Is this enough crankcase ventalation or am I causing pressureization problems. THanks for your help

    disasemble birfield

    Thanks every one! I had a pipe that just slid over the c clip and was 3" longer than the longer inner. With a rag in the other end 4 pops and the long one was a apart one pop and the short one came apart. Total time spent about 3 mimutes. :cheers:

    I'm re greasing my knuckles and cant figure out how to disasemble the birfields to clean them and regrease. I read the article on the marlin tack and plan to do this. Sliding the C clip that's easy to git to does nothing. Eany sugestions or tricks would be great...

    Thanks for the help.I am talking about the snaprings on the countershaft. I need more info on this, do I just replace with new or It sounded like the snaprings got tossed and replaced with a sleve or collar.
