    Project 1975 FJ40 restromod V8

Good luck with the project. Any grease monkey worth his salt should be able to work on the 327. My 350/383 has a holley 4 barrel but will be getting a fuel injection of some flavor for the reliability. I think I have rebuilt my last 4 barrel carb. Many of people now days can't drive a stick...

700R4 to transfer case adaptor question

Your first picture with the two mounting holes and the flange with numbers I have on my passenger side. I show the adapter --- The wires go off on the driver's side. I hope this helps. Maybe mine is messed up. Second opinions are welcome. Larry in El Paso

Project Wrong Way Idiot (me) Doing the FJ40 Rear Disc Swap

I would have thought you would have made an effort to repair locker (the gears you took out). You were much more graceful than I could have been. Larry in El Paso

    350 Chevy in fj45

My 2 cents, I am guessing Madmudman has a 350 available at a reasonable cost. I have a Gen 1 SBC and if anything breaks internally I would not think twice of going to a LSx engine. The N key is next to the B key on my keyboard so I am guessing he was in a hurry and hit the wrong key. Nice...

98 vortec chevrolet 350 conversion Redo - exploring my options

My semi educated thoughts, would it be possible to find replacement parts from a similar engine in a junk yard? Did you have the fuel pressure and flow high enough? I was wondering if the repair of the current system might be easier, cheaper and quicker than an engine swap. Larry in El Paso

    Chevy 350 Swap Reliability??

I would expect you to see 150k or more. A moderate engine like you are thinking about would be a good choice in my not so humble opinion. Larry in El Paso
