    Is this shock too long?

it has a Man A Fre shackle reversal 4” lift and it never flexed very well. I’m thinking maybe the OME shocks were the limiting factor there and by just measuring and replacing them I’ve just kicked the same problem further down the road. The difference was it wasn’t so obvious before.

    Is this shock too long?

So I am in the process of replacing the front shocks on my FJ40 and have switched from OME that we’re 20 years old to some Bilsteins. I took the old shocks to the shop and we measured them and ordered Bilsteins of a comparable length. The OME have a steel cover so I never saw how much shaft was...

Mount anything, anywhere on your cruiser, no drilling!!!

Over my years as a grip I have done a ton of camera rigs using suction cups, they are awesome but the do not hold forever. We usually check the cups every 10-15 minutes.

When you guys do the SR removal, does that cause any stress to the frame removing the plates that were welded on?

    Is this pressure too high?

I found out that there is an arrow on the sending unit and that arrow needs to be pointing up.

    Is this pressure too high?

I have to say that when replacing the oil pan the best thing I have ever done was buy an inch/pounds torque wrench. I found one on sale at Sears for $60 and it made the job go 100xs faster.

    Is this pressure too high?

Is this pressure too high? (pic) I just replaced the oil pump and this is the reading that I am getting now. Before the pressure debacle started (gauge pegging to the high side) it always ran at the lower white mark but now after new gauge, new oil pump and new sender this is where it's at. I...

odometer stuck; replace w/ 60 series?

I had my gauge panel out to swap a gauge and decided to pull the odometer out and fix it. It is super easy but I did not disassemble the number dials. I squirted an aerosol lube into the ends and just worked the numbers back and forth until they started to loosen up.

    Red liquid coming from exhaust?

Nope, just standard stinky landcruiser exhaust smell.

    Red liquid coming from exhaust?

This is what I'm hoping! I noticed a puddle of it after I revved the truck while checking the oil pressure, but the puddle was pretty big.

    Red liquid coming from exhaust?

Could high oil pressure cause this? By high I mean 60-65 pounds constant.

    Red liquid coming from exhaust?

I drained the oil for the 5th time in 2 weeks and it isn't over full or milky.
