    good question. I found the original receipt from Aqualu dated 5/06 and it states "4006 1979+ newer body" $2,427 I don't know the PO, so don't have a back story on the doors.

    The PO for my 82 did the same swap with an Aqualu tub, but unfortunately used an earlier model year and was forced to switch the ambulance doors as well, because the lower corners were square and not rounded like the stock 82 doors.     thanks for sharing this, it makes my day. I never thought of adding white seats to my 40, but then again I never thought about filling my gas tank from the inside...while sitting on the white seats...
