I was lucky enough to score the very last dash from Mark Vickers ( aka Dashman ) . I always make an effort to support small business. This was my second purchase from Mark, he was always great to deal with.
BTB products "Barrowed" his design, an continues to make a similar dash box, I refuse to...
Hello All:
I know this has been kick around but .............
I recently purchased a 74 FJ40, original soft top. Unfortunately the PO sold the doors, top and the OME bows. I have read conflicting posts here on the forum. One post says the "Real Steal" bows are for pre-75, and yet another says...
Previous owner only had it for two years, bought a new home and needed money. Does it look familiar to anyone? It's been in California it's whole life, Escondido Ca.?
Yes, turnkey all gauges, lights, blinkers, horn, wipers it all works. The only thing that will need attention down the road is the header. For some reason the flanges were cut and the header pipes are inserted and clamped into the exhaust, looks like a Man A Fre header. Just a tack weld here...

Hello All
I have a 64 FJ 40 with a seized F motor, the previous owner swapped in a 4-speed. I found a low mile 2F out of an 86 60, motor only, no flywheel or bell housing. Will this bolt up to the newer 2F ?
Thanks
Mike
I bought a low mile 80K 2F out of a 85 FJ-60 from a MUDDER in Portland for $600. Had it shipped for $200. In the process of lining things up to install in my 64 FJ-40, along with my new front axle from Mark. PO had installed a 4-speed.
Mike
Don't be, bought it from a fellow cruiser head in Washington basically over the phone. Older gentleman and his wife, great shape rust free, here is what I found under the rear quarters. 1/2 " thick "skim" coat of Bondo.
