If you cut up a set of small patern knuckles you can bolt them on to the axle to hold stock calipers.. Not sure where theres a thread on it though. Definately the way to go on a FF.
Destin it looks really good but my only critisism is it needs some black here and there, like the straps on the gas tank. I'm not sure whats stock but thought just a bit of black to break up the red. Don't get me wrong, I think red cruisers are best! Very nice work though.
Do you have all the p/n's for brake lines? Let me know today cause i will be away tomorrow for a few days.... Do you need anything from down here? I will be going to CR tomorrow.
I have a set of perches, not dodge ones but pretty much the same if you want them. Just pay me what the dodge...
Looking good.
You got the brackets yet for the RDB? I got mine a couple years ago from LeJuene Engineering. I think they were $12ish a piece. They are weld on. Worked nice on my 60 housing. Let me know if you need any part numbers or mounting info. My only mistake is the upper caliper...
Starting on sunday, a shackle reversal, spring over and lengthened driveshafts... Oh ya and rear disk breaks.... Still need to plumb brakes and swap the master tomorrow.
Mines an RD124 I think. I would run the airline up higher before you go over the ring gear. It won't take much to dent the front pumpkin enough to squish the air line between the housing and the gear.
Poser should be chiming in soon, he will set us all straight!
I thought the air line went on the other side of the carrier:confused:
Heres mine, carrier looks different.
Edit: mines for c-clip axle... thats why its different I guess.
contact a local cruiser club, go to some meetings and make some connections. Look at other cruisers and see what direction you want to go... By meeting other locals to you should be able to tap into a pretty good parts network.
Breaks up front for sure, SM420 or SM465 tranny upgrade can...
It does that because the coolant temp sensor is gettting to hot which causes the idle to kick up and run rich to decrease cylinder temps. Make sure your coolant is mixed right and topped up. Do you have a mechnanical temp gauge installed? Do you know what temps you are getting to? You might...
Too Tall and I never even bump flared our tubes and they are still holding up after almost 10 years... You should be good with that. Nice clamping and bends too.
