    Driveshaft clanking sound: Video

Thank you everyone for the questions. I did what I could but didn’t notice anything obvious. I took it into to a local shop to look at my steering and they think it maybe bearings in the 3rd member. I ordered a bearing kit and also bought a used 3rd member just if it’s torn to shreds after...

    Driveshaft clanking sound: Video

Yes, I’m in 2 high. Front driveshaft isn’t moving. Sounds more like it’s coming from the rear

    Driveshaft clanking sound: Video

Does anyone know what this sound is? Seems like the driveshaft is bouncing all around. Will occur with or w/o clutch engaged. It’s annoying and scares the hell out of people leaving Publix lol 😂 Video link. https://www.dropbox.com/s/48zzn7hujxgee9c/Video%20Jul%2009%2C%205%2002%2012%20PM.mov?dl=0

    PCV valve & Holley Sniper

@wngrog and @BIG RENO AL thank you for your help. On the side of the block do we need to have a PCV valve and hose to pull vacuum on the crank case? Just wondering what plugs this hole. Also where I have this filter on the valve cover, does this need to connect anywhere for a vacuum?

    FJ40 Fuel Tank Cap

@LandCrusher'70 That looks a lot like mine on my 1972. Maybe mine is stock, and looks like you also have a Stant locking cap. I noticed on both my old and new cap you have to really press down and turn to make sure its secure. Same for you?

    FJ40 Fuel Tank Cap

I think my filler neck is American. Went by a hotrod shop and a late 60's Chevy C10 cap fit. So the garage owner Jamie looked around and found a NOS Stant gas cap and gave it to me for $0! Made my day. This old FJ40 is coming together and I'm putting some miles on her already! Thank you...

    FJ40 Fuel Tank Cap

Hello, I'm looking for afuel cap for my 1972 FJ40. I ordered part # 77310-60090 on eBay, but apparently its the fuel cap, or my fuel neck was changed by the previous owners. Does anyone else have this style cap in the picture? If so what year or part number am I looking for? Thanks in advance!
