    At the base of the TG glass channel are a couple of tabs you pull to free the channel and glass. You will want to take the channel as the glass ws may be aged tight and take too much time to remove on site.

    metal strips most likely. Plastic retainers not so much. Those would be a really good project for someone. Plastic+heat+time =:crybaby: Are the metal strips the same across all years?
