Remove driver and passenger side o'sh!t handles, rear view mirrow and visors so the whole front can sag down. It is probably not that much more trouble to remove the whole thing and not worry about the headliner creasing but I just used my kids baseball bat if I recall to support it. Remember I...
Drilling the roof is no big deal as long as you seal it properly. Using a multi-bit if possible, slowing cut just big enough to screw the fixture into the roof. Use a quality fixture that faces towards the rear and use some window putty to seal everything up. You can find it in rolls at most RV...
Sorry to hear it Brian. I've beat the living daylights out of my FJ and love it more everyday. My 1990 Toyota SR5 pre Tacoma had 298k miles on it and it was in great condition before I sold. Original motor, replaced one timing belt and one water pump in 18 years?

Whole lotta bling bling that's what I'm seein' and for twice the retail price. FYI Those steps are crap, the first time this driver try's to use these like sliders he's gonna be in for a big surprise. They get caught on rocks bend like sheet metal.
