Trying to remember the last person I knew who installed headers and actually liked them... but it's not coming. Seems like there are always issues, like fitment or leaking gaskets or they crack or they don't actually gain much power or...
Nice. I didn't know they made a front speaker model...wonder if that would work in-dash. I'm thinking of replacing the factory base stereo anyway, maybe I could fit this Kenwood and a single DIN stereo in the opening.
Too bad it doesn't have a 5W mode, that would cut down on heat concerns in-dash.
How bad does he want ABS? On another vehicle I had ABS issues, so I just unplugged the ABS control module. The warning lights went out and the brakes work fine, just no ABS. Now, that was an older vehicle and I don't know if this will work for an FJC with all the electronics they have these...
I don't think the alternator minds clean water, but anything with a circuit board should be protected.

Intermittent problems like that are sometimes difficult to verify. My dealer did the same thing, so I sent them a grumpy email explaining that the TSB exactly described my symptoms and I didn't understand why they were resisting replacing the driveshaft since it was under warranty. They caved...
I would not use high pressure to wash. What I do is wet down the engine bay, spritz it all with Simple Green, and hose off. Simple Green is environmentally friendly and an excellent degreaser. It's not perfect but it cleans pretty good and I've never had an electrical problem as a result.
Are you talking about a sort of "lurch" or kick in the pants right when you come to an abrupt stop? There is a TSB out for the driveshaft slip joint binding. I just had my driveshaft replaced under warranty. It is TSB 0046-12.
I will eventually fit a winch, but I haven't decided what I am going to do for a winch bumper yet. If I get a full bullbar it will be aluminum, for weight and rust reasons. But I might just get the winch mount from US Offroad that fits between the frame rails in the factor bumper.
I need to do...
I have had a red top that lasted 7 years and a yellow top that has lasted 5 years so far.
It is worth noting that many "dead" Optimas aren't really dead and can be revived with special charging procedures.
But my main complaint about Optimas is with their design. Their special "spiral cell"...
