I'm out a vehicle, and looking for something cheep, so I don't have to share a car with the wife. I'd prefer another Toyota 4x4 (I've had three of them in the past - looking for the 4th), but I can only afford around...
The only manual adjustments I've done to disk breaks was to get new pads on them, but that's the wrong direction. I basically just used some adjustable C-clamps, and I'm not sure if that same method will work as well the other direction.
Disk breaks should be self adjusting. If the self adjustment doesn't seem to be working then somethings probably not working right with the breaking assembly and should be looked at.
