Congrats! 06/07 Cali rust-free low mileage for $29k is a great bargain. You can sell it right away at BaT or Cars & Bids for way more 😍 Esp if you invest in some "overlanding gears".
Are there still any other secrets out there for us to hoard a couple other trucks? :steer: The Hundy secret was out partially thanks to our MUD. The GX460/470 was out too since a couple years ago. Sequoia is kinda ugly. 😂
It's absurd that LC/LX have been in huge demand in Cali in recent years. Aside from those of us on MUD, most owners never needed to use the 4Lo/ATRAC/BFG KO2 on their LC/LX, but still have to pay $5/gallon for the gas hog 😂 😂

Sorry if I'm mistaken. But I always thought with larger tires, the actual mileage that the truck has travelled is a bit more than what's read from the odometer. Am I wrong? (I googled this topic but got conflicting theories 😅
Thanks for the comment :)
Even many offroaders with experience modifying Jeep XJ, Wrangler, even older 4runner/Taco would be surprised by how much the gears for LC/LX can cost. But the ones for LC/LX are of much higher quality than average Jeep mod parts. Also Jeep aftermarket parts are plentiful.
Earlier this year I have seen ads advertised as 2003+ model years while the pics showed pre-2003 style dashboard and system, so those were clearly spams. I wonder what they could ever gain from posting spam ads of LC/LX. Most LC/LX buyers are knowledgeable or in many cases experts from this...
The Dissent bumper is really well made and definitely increases the value as long as it's not damaged. I think what WeBeCinYa meant was that I shouldn't expect to get all the money I spent on aftermarket parts and installation back by selling it too much higher than KBB, even though the parts...
Thanks for the suggestion! I actually told the vendor to help me get rid of the original bumper when getting the new one. No space to keep the original one unfortunately.
When I took those pics with original bumper on, that's when my commute increased from 2 miles to 40+ miles. I got the truck...
Please find below some pics taken last year before the offroad goodies were installed. Seems the truck had not been taken offroad before I bought it. And after the mods, I've only taken it to very easy trails a few times.
