IForce- When was the motor replaced? Years-Miles & Why?
Educate me cause I’m not aware of any differences beyond mfg origin> How is a non-VVT 4.7 IForce out a Tundra any different from a non-VVT 4.7 100 series...
If you can provide car fax history report to match the ODO then you should do ok. Plenty here want trail rigs so salvage title knocks down the premium price. Put it on eBay with a healthy reserve - the market will tell you what it’s worth.
I’d call it “passive” solicitation
Put it on eBay for 7 days with a high reserve and see what the market says , or just list the F’ng thing BAT style - lots of pictures, chronological service history and spend, upgrades date installed and spend-
See what happens
Agreed to be wary. Under 100k rigs are like unicorns these days. You really need to inspect the providence of the truck to make sure it’s not been spun back/altered. I’m always suspicious- especially at that price- 90k 06 models were selling for close to $40k before Covid
04 spent its life in Wisconsin- lends itself to rust rot like Wisconsin swiss cheese.
02 spent its lift in Illinois- equally as bad from a corrosion standpoint.
Takes some resolve to get yourself over buying a 1 way ticket and then walking from the deal- to then have to buy a last minute 1-way ticket home. FWIW I've done a few like this and rarely found the fly & drive/ride purchases to be as described.
Hmmm- "Not soliciting sales", but you've joined forum today; sure seems like it went that way. For legitimacy, you might post a link to a recent CarFax.
Thread should be moved to classifieds.
If the Carfax is clean (no accidents) and maintenance is well documented, seems a fair starting price considering mods and mileage- and looks clean; however no pics of underside or engine bay.
If that were the case- the 100's that this thread focused on for example are high mileage, from rust belt, nothing particularly unique or special about them.
BAT attracts some eccentric buyers with more money than sense. Example:’$18k for a 2004, 4 previous owner, 184kmiles NorthEastern rust sponge - no friggin clue
