Inspection is key. All things equal and same price. 2006 hands down! More power, more refinements and less age on rubber, leather and plastic.. Higher market value!
Cool.
BTW If your Tundra not 4.7L You'll find mod more difficult on the 4.7L.

Sorry but your budget to low for my 100 series. I have more into just restoring, bring all systems up to data and factory spec. Plus in the VVT engine, of the 06-07. I do a very special modification, adding a replaceable filter to the S.A.I system. I've an 03LX w/315K, I'd not even let go at...
I've 3 stock LX's, in various stages of restore. 06 w/194k gray/gray, 07 w/171K gray/gray and 07 w145K Silver/gray 20" black 200 series rims. All have or will have my VVT S.A.I. filter mod.
What's your budget?
Yeah it's a design error. There's a small weep hole at CM to frame weld. It's, to small and clogs with dust. Which then retains moisture in the dust. Most are very fixable. Some just need to be kept clean.
I've four (03, 06 & two 07) pure stock LX470 currently. The 03LX would be $20K base cost. Plus add of parts you pick for build, plus labor to install. If you'd like to talk further, PM/DM me.
I've a 2003LX, I can build to your spec.
But why Lifted. LX has AHC. Which can be set to H, yielding about 1 1/2". With sensor lift, can to yield about 3" in H.
Interesting.
When I saw the excitement in yesterday post, over this find. I notice, the hood seems a slightly different shade than fenders. I chalked-up to lighting. Today looking at CL listing, I find a few things curious. Not what I'd expect to see.
But still, it is a beautiful looking 04...
