Kevin, it would seem that the snorkel is actually far stronger than the metal fender, haha. Maybe you should purchase a fender made out of snorkel material.
This is the place i was referring to, yes.
Sweetness. Ive kayaked down the same river. I tried taking a jon boat up it from Ouachita, not happening haha. At least not at the time of year/water level i did it.
I want to, and have been trying to plan a trip to lake ouachita for camping/fishing for a few years. Tent camping, bring minimal back up food. If we catch fish, we eat. No fish, well MT Harbor does have a subway, but i think we will catch fish :)
Its all national forest so you can camp...
Because it brings be back in touch with nature and being manly. :)
I want to take some camp/hiking trips for days (not vehicle dependent), but i cannot find many other people who want to do the same. I'd go by myself with Roux, but that is kind of stupidly dangerous.
Call me crazy, but i disagree. Its not necessary at all.
All you need is a piece of rubber hose cut down one side and place it over the lifting jaw. You now have rubber on metal which increases the coefficient of static friction tremendously over metal on metal.

The nuts are not the problem. Those came off. The bolts will not back out.
They are sort of wedged into place. I think the front one might be stuck a little worse since the mount skids are welded. Tapping with a hammer on the bolts end does nothing to get the bolt to back out.

Ah, i must have missed that you could just install new fluid and not have to remove the old fluid, or something along those lines that involved heating it up.
Tires/wheels installed. Now, just to find a 5th rock warrior wheel.
Essentially, none.
From what i have read/been taught, grab the tire (while its off the ground) at 9-3. If there is any play, the tierods may be worn or the wheel bearings may be loose. Reason being is that the steering tierods push pull the wheel in that same direction.
To check and see if...
You may want to rebuild the Johnny Joints. They are designed for this. There is a poly bushing on the inside that is a wear item. Not sure of what tools are needed, i know one side of the joint is a snap ring.
I ordered some tires, now i just need one more TRD rock warrior wheel.
