    Home Depot now wants you to go online ahead of time and register. I haven’t done it, and I’ll still ask. Both times I did that, they still gave me the discount with VA Identification card. But said they’re not supposed to.

    All you’re trying to do is register for medical exams and treatment at the VA hospital? If so, just go to the hospital with your DD214.
