I bought HE 2-row (silver) because that's what I really wanted. Realistically it was less than $2k premium or even less over base at the time I bought it, so that was acceptable to me. And it was closer to me than anything else, which made logistics easier. $7k would bring it into a no-go...

There is also hassle factor/familiarity. Buying newer you're postponing the hassle factor and reduce the risk of hidden issues/accidents. And rust or rather lack of. When I bought my 2015 w/50k miles at end of 2018 for little below $50k, I thought it was relative sweet spot from hassle...

Pretty decent, I agree. 2018, if without the silly rear entertainment screens, is also more desirable than 2016-2017.

A silver HE. Appears to be 2-row. Price not awesome, but not bad either... and the dealer has "Heritage" in the name, LOL: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/837457353/overview/ https://www.heritagetoyotacatonsville.com/new/Toyota/2021-Toyota-Land+Cruiser-673a7c700a0d0c1429a0973e9e20fb8e.htm

Sounds like total BS. Everything in that statement.... no longer producing 2-row, him being able to "order one".

Yes, 2-row 2021 HE in silver. Keep looking/negotiating. There was another but 3-row at Carmax in MD that was even less ($81.3k), but I did not want 3-row.

@redeye I would absolutely not buy a demo unless the car was otherwise unobtainable and/or the discount was crazy good. There is no way you should pay $81.5k for a demo. I paid $82k a brand spanking new less than a month ago.

Nice job, it's the right price. I hated paying $2.2k (with BS fee) more than that, but what's done is done.

Hard pass!!! Keeping looking. Even in the NE you can find clean or at least much cleaner examples than the above.

Torrington Toyota in CT. It's some backwater dealer that got dropped the LC on them and had trouble moving it, I think it sat for 1.5 months? Carmax in Laurel MD had a 3-row HE in silver for $81338, which I was to buy before I found out it's a 3-row that I did not want. Other dealers would...

I never sat in one, but I don't think there is any reason you would be disappointed. Exact same power train as 2013-2015. 6-speed is proven and smoother than 8-speed in 2016+. Fewer electronics to break. Also possible to delete nav and replace HVAC controls with all physical buttons. Ventilated...

Yeah, I also have certified platinum warranty till 122k & Sep 2024. Anyhow, very unlikely I'll be selling mine anytime soon. Planing to keep both, including a new 21 HE. Btw, Carmax in Laurel, MD has a brand new 2021 3-row silver HE 2021 for $81338. This is quite a screaming deal if one wants...

I paid $50k for pristine rust-free 2015 with 50k miles in Sep 2018. Now 62k miles. Curious what would I get for it. Still pristine & rust-free.

No comments?? Oh, well. I bought it. For the record, beware of JTMHY7AJ9F4031051. Also 2015 white/black. Carfax clean, but the car has been through an accident, most definately driver side hit to my eye. Overall appeared unloved and rather rusty underside.
