the rubber cane tips for old people's walking canes work great.. should be around $1 anywhere they sell old people supplies. Bring the bolt so you can match the tip size.
go for it... it's been tried a few times and always ends in no interested buyers. The problem is they end up in the $500-$700 range. You need to make six pieces, all requiring finishing. Good fiberglass in not that cheap. If you want to make a black plastic version, I hope you own a plastic...
I'm not familiar with Oregon.. It's hot a steamy here which leads to water collecting in the areas you just fixed. A and D pillar corners were the roof pinches onto the pillars. I just drilled weep holes on those spots. It helps the roof "breath" or drain the collected humidity/condensation.
You still would need to drill some hole in the sheet metal to mount them. I think they would be better in a hot dry area, or if you mount them with some sort of plastic screw.
they are just small black rubber rings. Maybe the local parts store has a case with generic black rubber rings. Take the carb and find one that fits. Probably end up costing you 25 cents
Gary I have some hj60 flares.. same as your picture above. I think they came off Kaderabek's 60, or from the person who owns/owned Kaderabek's blue 60.
