    Rear hatch hydraulic arms

Does anyone on here remember where we could buy the replacement hatch hydraulic arms? It was some sort of a marine boat web site but they were really cheap compared to what they ask for for the landcruiser something like 25-30 dollars each. You just had to know the lengths of extended and...

Whats this worth? First time buyer!

I paid 2700 for mine and it was in way better condition than that as far as the rust goes on the frame. The interior was about the same.

    ?'s for SOA guyz!

ditto on everything Mark W. said. As for the springs I just ended up buying some new ones that came off an old lift of someone on here, a long time ago, and it worked beautifully. the old ones started sagging almost immediately.

    SOA vs. SUA

Chicago, I'm in Reno Nevada as well and would you believe it, I have a 60 that my brother in law and my self did the SOA. I would be more than willing to show you mine so you can get a physical look at what it'll be like and give you my opinion and likes and or dislikes or any suggestions if it...

    "brown" 60s

I wondered the same thing if my 60 would look good like that. Mines brownish maroon almost. The lighter colored 60's looked ok but I was waiting for the darker ones and how they came out as well.

    which is easier?

good advice. I still have a lot to learn. I guess my bro in law is the brains behind the operation but like you said I have a lot still to learn.

    which is easier?

see we have a 98or 99 yukon complete engine and tranny among other things and I am just worried about getting into the swap and finding out it isn't worth what needs to happen to make it work. It is fuel injected and I've heard some horror stories about getting the computer and stuff to work...

    which is easier?

considering most of it would be done by ourselves. but then you have to factor in the time this will take with us working on it. Prolly be out for like a whole year the way we get around to things.

    which is easier?

thanks rusty. what are you doing here in the 60 area? Do you have a 60 or just like running all over the place on mud?

Sprayer Systems (Windshield, Headlights, & Rear)

I've been thinking of doing the same for the rear but need to replace cracked tubing in the rear. also the wiper doesn't work. I think it is due to wiring. In the process the PO "complete restoration" just cut s*** to get the body looking decent and throw some paint on.

    which is easier?

to throw in a chevy 350 with corresponding tranny and also running gear, or rebuild the 2f and leave the running gear as is? which is better performance wise?
