This hose was not clogged but it is the drain. I had the thought that maybe it’s upstream from here and right as the cable I was using punched through I realized I didn’t know how much water was up there. There was a lot! The carpet is soaked so if you are doing this be prepared for water.
I am in the process of driving kids to school and noticed water collecting here on the FJ60. I did have the ac on at the time. Any ideas what I’m looking at today? Thanks in advance.
I have a set of the factory FJ 60 brown seatbelts but after talking with a friend of mine decided to go the factory 3 point that Spectre Off Road sells. You have to adjust the shoulder belt but my kids are tall enough now that I can trust them to do it.
So I got a second a double checked the linkages which are fine and working so I pulled the wiper arm back off. The post looked fine and the wiper arm was so I out it all back together and very carefully tightened it back down. I have no idea what I did differently this time but it works fine. I...
THanks! The passenger side went great, then came the drivers side. When they painted the 60 the didn't replace the wiper bolt with the factory one and it was jammed up. I got it off with a small impact wrench, stud looked fine so I mounted the new wiper. It tightened down fine but when I turned...
So I ordered up all the parts and I have a question about the arms. The 4Runner arms I have are smooth at the mounting point and the post to mount it to has indexing marks like was on the old arm. Do I just bolt it on and it will work? Did I somehow get the wrong arms? It's a 1984 FJ 60 if that...
So I was talking to Steve today from seatbelt planet and as we were talking about my concerns of the mounting shoulder belts in my truck that doesn't have the mount for the retractor he mentioned that they make harnesses. I was wondering if anyone had used them or if anyone has any thoughts on...

I know that Rich had sold K&H due to his declining health and wasn't sure about the new owners or if the work would still be of the same quality. I could not find...
In an FJ62 with the factory rear 3 point belts where does the dead end mount? Is it behind the seat back where the lap belt retractor mounts in an FJ 60 or is it more forward toward the wheel well? Pics? I'm attempting to install 3 point belts in my FJ 60 and I'm trying to figure out the...
I can't thank you guys enough, both seats are apart and the setback is off to the powder coaters tomorrow. For future reference here is what the thing looks like in real life.
I'm Swapping the rear seat back in my FJ 60 for an FJ 62 with headrests. I am in the process of swapping the fabrics so it still matches my interior but cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the headrest hardware. About 4 months ago I saw a thread on here that described the...
I am in the middle of this swap and how did you remove the plastic trim pieces that the headrests mount into? I only had a couple of seconds and I could figure out if you just pop them out or if there's a tab or... Thanks!
I use the lap belts with the new Britax Frontier 90 booster seat, the way it latches makes it much friendlier to the lap belts in the Landcruisers and my 69 Charger. For the tether off the back of the seat I use climbing slings and rated carabiners rigged through the seat belt mounts. Rock solid!
I've had mine for about 8 years now and I love them. The fronts did fade when my truck sat for about 3 months while I was rebuilding the motor. The rear has survived tools boxes, car seats, exploding snacks, sippy cups and a black lab and it still looks new.
I have 3M all the way around and it really knocked down the heat when she has to sit out in the sun. I think I paid around $400 here in Los Angeles and then the price came down when I offered cash.
