My 3FE oil guage sits at the same spot as yours and has for the past 4 years that I've owned it. I think its more a guage issue than low pressure.

Bruce, if you are only seeing a bit of air coming out of the master it might be worth going ahead and bleeding the brakes to see if you can work it through the system. I`ve had the same issue and still ended up with a good pedal.
Dave
As mentioned above you will have to bleed the the load sensing valve to get a good pedal. On my 62 the bleeder screw was rusted in so I just loosened off one of the lines going into it while my son kept pressure on the brake pedal. You won`t get a good pedal with out doing it.

Hey Romey, I'll trade you my beat up 62 for it. That way you'll have a Cruiser you don't mine driving it in the winter and I'll keep the 60 tucked away in my shop while the weather is bad. Honestly, don't get to excited to sell off the Cruiser collection. i had my kids out wheeling at an early...
The wire harness for the pump runs behind the body mount at the back of the wheel well and up into the quarter panel. The connector is up inside the quarter panel as mentioned above. Mine looked just like the picture above, so I removed it and justed joined the wires together. I believe you can...
Welcome, I think I know the 2 trucks your talking about, but haven't seen them for about 3 years.
A good Cruiser with good price tag in Ont. is hard to find, but they are out there. Take your time and
If you see what you like in your price range then go for it. Good luck with your search.
Dave
The wires and connectors for the tail lights are in the rear quarters. My truck had body issues back there which aloud water and dirt to get in and mess up my wiring. Check there for rotted or broken wires.
Dave
The brakes lights work off of a switch that is mounted at the top of the pedal bracket. It has a plastic plunger that slides in and out turning on the brake lights. Check and make sure it isn't loose or broken.
Always a good idea to wash off the bottom of the truck. You should even take the hose and wash out the frame rails every now and then. You might want to pull the rear wheels and clean out the drum brakes too.

In my case it's install my new to me engine into my 40 and get it back to a road & trail worthy condition. The room and comfort of my 62 is nice, but I prefer wheeling with my 40. If all goes well I'll have it more than ready to go by then.
Dave
Like mentioned above, check the wire harness in the left rear quarter. There is a 4 wire connector there that goes to the pump. I've had to redo the wiring there for this same issue.
