    Cleaned MAF & won't run now

    Well the connector is hooked up and i have checked the vacuum lines as well. As for the two screws of death I did unscrew them, broke loose the gasket thing then saw what I didn't understand so I put it back together. I guess that was a bad thing...?

    Hey got a question... I went to clean my cruiser up and cleaned the MAF throttle body and put it all back together changed the air cleaner and now it turns over, run for a second or two idles up to 1000RPM then it dies. I need help, what do I need to check now?

    Yes fraying!! Sorry this all happened the day before I got married and I probably don't have to say that it was quite stressful. Does anyone know if the throttle cable from a FJ80 fits a FJ62?

    Search for Rodney flush. It is a passive flush. I did it with my trans and it help a good deal.

    I also removed mine with out a gear puller. Except for the transfer input gear.

    Try using some heat, two summers ago when I rebuilt mine xfer case i took all day fighting with it then put heat on it to the point where it was smoking and it finally broke loose. I tried heat before but never got it hot enough. You really have to let it start smoking.

    It is the same quadratech console this thread is about. The drawer is not really a drawer but more of a swing out pen holder. But most normal pens are to long for fit. But you can still use it.

    I used 1/8 inch ply wood for mine. Very cheap and turns out nice, especially if you take more time to sand then I did.

    When I cut my quarter panels on the passenger side all I did was put a damp cloth in between the weld area and the fuel lines.

    Yeah I usually ground to the frame. Is it true that you should disconnect the battery when grounding to the frame? Can't remember where I heard this from and can't remember the reasoning behind it either but I always do.
