    Yeah - I do also like the idea of using original parts from the model - ordering hj61 brakespads and they fit. Imaging if the car shifts ownership and it is rebuild with all kind of different models 😅 but you right! It is worth the upgrade. Bigger wheels, more weight etc - needs more stopping power

    fj80 steering box output shaft larger than 60 series, does it matter in a swap?

    Hi everybody Just wondering is there a way to measure or in another way tell the difference between a 62 box and a 80series box? I ask because I have got a “80series” box - but really cant tell the difference from the 62 box! Thx 😉

    Today I finally change the clutch! The reason is a freakin noisy sound driving. It stopped when clutch was engaged. So I went for it!     We have been on several trips the last couple of days. It just performance - that is sweet! Still need some minor fixes - next weekend it will have the new clutch and bearing. The bearing is "killing" me - it makes a terrible sound without pressure :)

    Got my storage brackets back from the carpainter - great to have them fitted. I am considering one more alubox for our foldable table. Also got a new clutch and a new 24v voltage regulator.

    Hi I just did that recently! Not as bad as expected. I had new chrome moldings and new windscreen rubber. I simply put on a lot af dish wash soup on the rubber and from the corners pushed the chrome strips in. Note - make sure that there is plenty og soup on the rubber :) The worst one for me...

Well regarding the steering column I change all the u-joints including the totally overpriced upper one, where the steering wheel goes! It really helped since the upper one was waste!
