Looking good!
Interesting read about wire ratings, fuses, and fuse times. Appreciate you taking the time to write it all out.
Time to swap the hood springs for some struts? Lot’s more room for activities that way.
Or the 100 series version, I guess?
And then just wire a relay and switch for the cdl actuator to control 2x/4x (or use the dash button if 62). The manual actuator conversion being developed by Georg that Trail Tailor alluded to in your thread sounds cool too if it comes to market.
So... @dbbowen has exhaustively researched the T-case whine in his axle swap thread. All signs are pointing to this being an endemic issue with the Advanced Adapter part. A handful of folks have chimed in privately and in the thread echoing their experience with the whine while running this...
The diameter of the snap ring was too big, or the thickness?
This is the sealed bearing that I swapped in from AA: SKU: 716310 (308 SEALED BRG. W/SNAP RING)
Hey do you have other issues, or is it just the PO327 code? PO327 is a knock sensor code. That is a pretty straightforward diagnostic. The two wires coming out between the intake and the valley plate on the back of the motor are the front and rear knock sensors. Easy way to diagnose would be to...
Haha I know what you mean. It finally clicked for me at one point, too. Happy to help.
WOT is “wide open throttle.” Essentially if you floor it with the ac on the computer will turn the compressor off so that you have maximum power.
Simplest way forward is to forgo the toyota low pressure switch near the evaporator as well as the gm pcm and just wire a binary switch to interrupt the ground of the ac compressor. There is a port on the side of the receiver/dryer that you can thread it into.
You’ve got power going to the...
I've tried both the sealed and unsealed bearing from AA. Same result. Though, when I swapped the sealed bearing in the noise seemed like it was gone then came back. Now it is definitely back.
If I can get my PS system put back together this weekend I'll give the 't-case in neutral tranny in...
The side and upper pieces are just clamped on there. If you get one of those plastic trim removal tool sets you can get a wedge under it and tap it off. Definitely won’t be able to get them back on afterwards though. They get destroyed taking them off.
The lower horizontal pieces are more...
I just did this and used these threads as reference.

@matmattmatthew here are a few more pics of the Gramiviti 30/60 mounts along with the Rhino Rack RL110S2 gutter mounts for comparison.
I also considered trying the Rhino Rack Backbone mount that they make for the 80 series but was concerned that I might run into the same issues.
I...
Haha I still haven't seen a color I didn't like on a 60, but have to say I am partial to the white after owning it. It always looks great imo, especially with the black fj steelies and bumpers.
The RR gutter mounts didn't work great for me, BUT, totally could have had something to do with the...
