Dude this picture was one of the motivators to start in on my 60, glad to see your back in the game. I keep saying I'll come back from my hiatus one of these days too!

I voted Toybox. I can't tell you how many messages and emails I've received over the years asking about a Toybox install on my H55F. I've haven't been as involved in the LC community lately, but if half of that interest still exists today then I would say its worth an initial run. I'll echo what...
Exactly. . . The Crown Performance hoses that I have are a kevlar braid, a stainless braid, and an addition coating on the outside for protection.

Well I did mine a little differently. . .
I used stainless -3 lines with female JIC swivel ends and used Male JIC to metric adapters to go into the caliper and hard line on the axle. It sounds like ga89hoss has to get new lines anyway so this might be an option. I think the stainless lines...
I would put a 90 degree fitting on the caliper so that the soft line would then screw in vertically. It looks like on a hard right turn that even if you route the hose to the other side of the shock, it will still rub.

I agree, if you take a shot on the top of that bar it may bend into the body temporarily. Hard to tell how close it is in the pictures though.
Otherwise looks fantastic, let's meet up this year and scratch it!

I'm checking on Mcgrew, that would be awesome.
I'm not sure on the Poly's yet Mike. Right now I have some ideas rolling around of an axle swap but it was likely due to age and fatigue. If an axle swap does not happen, I'll swap in some Polys in and call it a day. Thanks again for digging out...

Haha. I rushed to get the plate cut to fit into the rear tubed section to protect the split case, so I didn't get any pics of the process. . . but here it is freshly painted. I am glad I did it, because there were some nice 16" long gouges in...
I didn't get to many pictures but I did see a lot of cameras out. That was an awesome run, I am glad that you Oregon dudes came down and ran the trail. I hope you enjoyed it.
I did manage to twist off a rear long side axle shaft. It was a clean break, with no pop, bang or weird noise. Thanks...
Dude that looks great, I like the extra cuts you made. Andy and I will just come up after Rubithon and grab them, so go ahead and chop it in half if you want. Have fun on Rubicon!

Hey guys,
I am going through my spare parts and I take a little closer look at my spare front inners and this is what I see. The 8mm 1.25 is not tapped into the end of the shaft and the groove for the cir-clip at the wheel end is not there? Also, there are matching cir-clips on the birfield...
Right now the factory lights were worthless because of 5% tint on the back window. I could add some underneath the lights but I'll add some to a rear bumper when I build it.
Thanks for the feedback guys, I'll let you know how they do on the trail. I figure I can replace the light at any part...
