Replace Fan Clutch Assembly - How Difficult?

I am well versed in mechanical endeavors & have all the tools (assuming it does not require a SST)...just wondering who has done it themselves, and if it is worth the 2.5hrs of dealership labor that they quoted me. Thanks, -R

Help! My LC won't quit beeping!

Help! My LC won't quit beeping!

@All...headed to O'Rielly now to pick up the ODBII FYI, I took it for a spin around the block & it is definatly NOT the limp mode symptoms....full throttle response. However, breaks are VERY spongy and I have to put them to the floor to stop from even a nominal speed....leaning towards ABS...

Help! My LC won't quit beeping!

Help! My LC won't quit beeping!

Hhmmm...Ok...thanks for the info. Wouldn't I notice a miss or shouldn't the engine run rough if that was the case. Also, seems like this would trigger a "Check Engine" light...not a bunch of stuff associated w/the Traction Control...

    Brake Pad Pins...

Hey Gang, Quick Question... I am replacing the pads in the front, and noticed that the old pads wore a little uneven. Upon disassembly, I noticed that there was only one "retaining clip" (read: Paperclip looking thing that forces the pads towards the caliper pistons) on each caliper...

    Front Rotor Removal

Hey Gang... I got a little side tracked on this...but am ready to work on it now. When I re-pack the bearings, and grease cavity in the front hubs, does the FSM discuss how much grease to use? Do I just fill the cavity all the way around? Thanks, -R

    Brake Job...Front or Both?

Hey Gang, It is time to replace the pads on the front of my '01 as the "clicker" bar just started making racket. Anyway, after reading many articles I think I am going to go with the OEM pads, but I am wondering about the rear brakes. Should I go ahead and replace the pads on all 4...
