2006 LX470: From Elation to Deflation- I need some help

Got any pics of how it sits today? If it’s really a 3” lift then I think that could be the problem. That being said I don’t think stage 3 means 3” lift.

    Need opinions on collision repair

I’d probably go no on this one.

Your center diff isn’t locked is it? Seriously doubt this is the problem.

100 series won't start - brand new Toyota battery - TIA!

Exactly. I drive a lot around the south central US and when I'm out in middle of nowhere there's decent chance there's a Walmart not too far away!

This guy is right about Walmart batteries. It’s what I buy and have had good luck!

    Radiator -- Koyorad or Toyota

My 2021 koyorad is still going strong. Most of the time it’s been in the DFW heat!

    AHC delete question

Why do you still have AHC sensors? Doesn’t make sense if deleted.

Family of 6 Touring / Camping - Keep LC100 or Buy Excursion?

This is what I was thinking. I own a LX470 and a 2nd gen Sequoia. The Sequoia is capable, comfortable and has a lot of room inside.

Looking at next vehicle after my hundy.

You're right. I apologize. I think I was just getting tired on clicking on links in the forum and keep seeing the Armada being promoted. Which I'm sure is a fine vehicle but I don't need to see how great it is in every subsection on Mud.

Looking at next vehicle after my hundy.

I call BS on this! Show me proof US built Sequoia’s are crap? Why are you even on this forum? Doesn’t Nissan have their own forum? You should spend your time over there. This guy has been posting the same Armada leg humping crap in the 200 series recent price thread. Look at #18...

    Battery recommendation

Just go to Walmart. They are everywhere and warranties are easy to take care of as long as you keep your receipt.

    Need help gauging 100-series pricing

I think closer to $14K but hard to say without seeing it first hand. You’re probably better off buying from a private party vs dealer.

    Need help gauging 100-series pricing

These 100’s are getting close to 20-25 years old. Most likely there’s going to be some sort of bodywork or paint correction on a lot of them. I don’t really care about the body being 100% perfect. We buy these things to go off-road and there’s a good chance you’re going to scratch it...

    Model Year vs Mileage

I have data to back this up but seems like the 2000’s have more transmission issues. I’d lean toward the 2003, all things being equal.

Battery options for 1999 100 series.

Got to Walmart and get the EverStart Maxx. They’re good batteries and if you ever have a problem you’re probably not that far from a Walmart.

    Anyone go from a 200 back to a 100?

I'm on my 2nd 5.7. My first was a 2014 Tundra that I put 185,000 not one issue other than regular maintenance. I'm on my 2nd 5.7, 2020 Sequoia with 60K still no issues. My 4.7 has 287K and I didn't get it until it had 260K. In that time I've had about 6K in maintenance (timing belt, water...
